If you don’t look around at objects during the day and imagine ways they could kill you, then you don’t understand.

If you’ve never wanted to dig yourself a hole and die in it, then you don’t understand.

If you’ve never looked in the mirror and cried at what you saw, then you don’t understand.

If you’ve never been tormented by people for the way you are, then you don’t understand.

If you’ve never feared or sobbed at the thought of going to school, then you don’t understand.

If you’ve never starved yourself until you pass out, then you don’t understand.

If you’ve never purposely thrown up your food until blood is all that is left, then you don’t understand.

If you’ve never been humiliated for who you do and shouldn’t love, then you don’t understand.

Don’t judge people if you don’t understand what they go through.

Eventually I changed it to be-matthew-llamy but I will always hold that one Muse song close to my heart.

Muse are not a depressing emo band, their songs are meaningful and they are not all about cutting.
